Provides crisis services, case management, psychiatric services and medication management for individuals and families with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Case management programs can assist clients to obtain food vouchers and food as needed. The agency itself does not provide a food service. Substance abuse therapy services for women: Women’s Outpatient Program Contacnt: Nancy haden at (540) 636-4250, ext. 2223 for more information or to schedule an appointment for an intake, contact the Call Center at (540) 636-2931, “prompt 1.” Women who are pregnant and substance abusing are prioritized and NWCSB. They will be provided with an intake within 48 hours of their call to the Call Center. OUTPATIENT mental health and substance abuse clinic services include crisis intervention; case management for individuals with serious mental illness or intellectual disabilities; psychiatric medication assessment and monitoring, psychiatric nursing, and substance abuse assessments and referrals. Winchester Clinic Page County Clinic Warren County Clinic Shenandoah County Clinic OTHER SERVICES: Infant/Toddler Case Mgmt Services: For infants and toddlers (birth – 3 yrs old) with actual, suspected or potential handicapping conditions or developmental delays. Provides a comprehensive, family-focused, early intervention program for infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays. NWCS-Supportive Housing Program: Provides support services to assist the homeless individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or AIDS. Wounded Warrior: Case management and resource referral for veterans who are experiencing Posttraumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury. Sunshine House: Psychosocial clubhouse for individuals with serious mental illness. Members participate in social recreation, practical skill-building, and the general management of the program.
