Concern Hotline Featured in the 2025 iHeartMedia Impact Report
Concern Hotline is honored to be featured in the 2025 iHeartMedia Impact Report, recognizing a partnership that has helped strengthen our mission for more than 25 years.
For a quarter century, iHeartMedia has partnered with Concern Hotline by helping promote our annual Fish Fry and raising awareness of our mission throughout the community. That long-standing partnership has helped shine a light on mental health, suicide prevention, and the importance of reaching out for help, while supporting our largest annual fundraiser.
This feature is a testament to the impact that can be made when businesses and nonprofit organizations come together with a shared commitment to serving their community. Partnerships like this help ensure that more people know where to turn during life's most difficult moments and that compassionate support is always within reach.
One detail made this feature especially memorable.
The photo selected by iHeartMedia was taken during Concern Hotline's Giving Tuesday event, a day dedicated to celebrating generosity, community, and the power of giving back. The image features Tara Crawford, Program Director of Concern Hotline, alongside Holly Crawford, Program Director of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Use Coalition.
What iHeartMedia didn't know when they selected the photo was that Tara and Holly are sisters.
Although they serve in leadership roles at different organizations, both have dedicated their careers to strengthening the health and well-being of our community. Their work reflects the many ways local organizations collaborate to provide support, education, prevention, and hope for those who need it most.
While the photo was selected simply because it captured the spirit of the event, it ultimately came to represent something even greater. It serves as a reminder that meaningful change happens when people, organizations, businesses, families, volunteers, and community partners work together toward a common purpose.
Concern Hotline is deeply grateful to iHeartMedia for 25 years of partnership and for helping share our mission with the community. We are equally grateful to our volunteers, supporters, donors, community partners, and everyone who has walked alongside us over the years.
This feature is not just a reflection of Concern Hotline's work. It is a reflection of an entire community that believes every person deserves hope, compassion, and someone who will listen.
